Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 23, 2026 | App Version 1.0.9
Take Me Home is an app that is provided by Small Business Resource Center Online, Inc. dba Harmony Senior Housing. This Privacy Policy explains how Take Me Home accesses, uses, stores, shares, retains, and deletes information.

1. Privacy Summary
· Take Me Home V1.0.9 is designed around a local-device profile and does not require a Take Me Home cloud account.
· Take Me Home does not operate a server-side database of user profiles, saved Home addresses, Trusted People, Saved Places, parking locations, or Take Me Home trip histories.
· Take Me Home does not sell personal information, does not use paid advertising, and V1.0.9 does not use behavioral advertising or behavioral analytics.
· The app may access foreground location when the user invokes a feature that needs location. The current V1.0.9 design does not use Take Me Home continuous/background location tracking.
· Information may leave the app when the user chooses or configures a feature that hands information to a device function or third-party service, such as SMS/Messages, a mapping/navigation app, ride provider, telephone service, email client, or PayPal Giving Fund.
2. Information Stored on the Device
Depending on how the user configures the app, Take Me Home may store locally on the device: profile name; Home address; up to three Saved Places; up to three Trusted People and their phone numbers; confirmation and recipient-selection status; preferred language and navigation app; enabled buttons/services; Automatic Text settings and categories; a manually tagged parking location; Terms/Safety acceptance revision, date and time; and Profile Change History.
3. Location Information
Take Me Home may access the device's foreground location when the user requests a location-dependent feature, including nearby searches, navigation, tagging/finding a parking spot, or preparing a current-location map link for user-selected Trusted People. Location can be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Take Me Home V1.0.9 does not use its own continuous/background location tracking and does not maintain a Take Me Home server-side location history.
4. Automatic Text, Trusted People, and 911
Automatic Text can be configured for Home, Emergency Room/Hospital, Police Station, Call 911/Emergency Call, VA Medical Center, Gas Station, Pharmacy, Grocery Store, Urgent Care, Restaurant, Find My Car/Parking, Saved Places, and Ride Services. Take Me Home can prepare a message for selected Trusted People and may include destination/action information and a map link based on current or saved location. The device's messaging interface may require the user to review and tap Send. A prepared message is not proof that it was sent, delivered, read, understood, or acted upon.
For Call 911, the current V1.0.9 flow may open the Trusted People location-message composer before the app's 911 countdown. The user may need to send or dismiss that message before the countdown/calling flow continues. Take Me Home does not operate, monitor, or dispatch 911.
5. Information Take Me Home Does Not Intentionally Collect on Its Servers
Because V1.0.9 does not use a Take Me Home cloud account or Take Me Home profile server, the provider does not intentionally receive or maintain on its own Take Me Home servers the user's locally saved profile, Trusted People list, Home address, Saved Places, parking pin, or Take Me Home location/trip history merely because the user uses the app.
6. Third-Party and Device Services
When the user invokes a third-party or device service, information necessary for that action may be transferred to that service. Examples include Apple/Google/device operating-system services, SMS/Messages and wireless carriers, mapping/navigation providers, ride providers, telephone services, email providers, and PayPal Giving Fund. Those parties operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Take Me Home does not control information after it is transmitted to an independent third party.
To the extent the provider uses a service provider to process user data on its behalf, the provider expects that service provider to protect the data consistently with applicable law and the commitments in this Policy. Independent third-party services selected or invoked by the user may have separate practices.
7. Support Communications
If a user voluntarily contacts [email protected], the provider may receive the sender's email address and whatever information the sender chooses to include. Support communications are used to respond, troubleshoot, maintain appropriate support/security records, and improve the service. Users should not send sensitive medical or emergency information by email. Support email is not an emergency service.
8. Retention and Deletion
Locally stored Take Me Home profile/settings data remains on the device until the user changes or erases it, the app is removed, or the device/operating system otherwise removes it. The app's Erase My Profile & App Data function is intended to erase Take Me Home local profile/app data within the app's control. Uninstalling the app generally removes its local app data subject to the device platform's backup/restore behavior.
Take Me Home cannot delete information already sent to an independent third party, such as an SMS recipient, mapping/navigation service, ride provider, telephone carrier, email provider, or platform backup service. Those parties' retention/deletion rules apply to their copies.
Support emails and related records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain security or business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or satisfy legal obligations, and then deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably needed.
9. Consent, Permissions, and Revocation
Users can decline or revoke device permissions through the device's operating-system settings. Revoking a permission may prevent features that require that permission from working. Users can turn Automatic Text off, change its categories and recipients, remove Trusted People/Saved Places, or erase local Take Me Home profile/app data through the app where those controls are provided.
Because V1.0.9 does not create a Take Me Home cloud account, there is no Take Me Home server account to delete. A user who believes the provider holds personal information outside the device, such as information voluntarily sent in a support email, may contact [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention obligations.
10. Security
Take Me Home is designed to minimize centralized collection by keeping core profile/settings information locally on the device. Device security therefore depends in part on the user's device, operating system, passcode/biometrics, backups, network, and third-party services. The provider uses reasonable administrative and technical practices appropriate to the information it actually controls, but no device, storage method, transmission, or electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Children
Take Me Home is a general-audience navigation and assistance utility and is not designed as a child-directed service. A parent or guardian should determine whether the app and any third-party services it opens are appropriate for a minor.
12. Changes to This Policy
This Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the app, law, platform rules, or data practices. The effective date will be updated when the Policy changes. Material changes may also require renewed in-app acceptance of updated Terms/Safety information where appropriate.
